WHAT IS PEARL FINDER?
Pearl Finder is a search engine that allows visitors to find the pearls that are uniquely identified. The pearl’s information reveals the basic description of the pearl, the origin, and the cultivation period.
A pearl identification technology called Metakaku® is employed. The identification technology embeds a passive wireless tag inside a pearl nucleus. Each pearl nucleus, or the resulting pearl, that uses the Metakaku® technology can be identified using a scanner.

ABOUT METAKAKU®
Metakaku® is a patented pearl identification technology. Each Metakaku® pearl contains a tiny tag inside the pearl. Each tag stores a unique identification number. The technology was developed by Mr. David Wong with production supported by Fukui Shell Nucleus Factory.
